Who are Elevate Remedial?
Hi, I’m Anita, owner and sole massage therapist at Elevate Remedial in beachside Lauderdale, Tasmania. As a Health and Physical Education teacher for the past 20 years, I was ready for my next challenge, and I completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage in early 2024. Now I enjoy both some casual teaching and providing massage treatments to clients, in amongst spending time with my little family (hubby and 6 year old) exploring locally and abroad, spending time in the outdoors and doing, watching or organising some sort of physical activity / sport (all usually with a camera in hand!).
I believe in both the remedial and relaxation benefits of a massage and incorporate both aspects into my approach with my clients. I work with clients to support them towards a goal, whether it be elevating body or mind function (often both) and together we agree on a treatment plan to achieve this.
Flexibility and balance in life is important to our family, and as a result no two weeks of massage appointment availability is the same. Often you will find last minute appointment availability advertised through our social media pages as some time has freed up in the week!
